1God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.
KJVAnd GodH430 blessedH1288(H8762) NoahH5146 and his sonsH1121, and saidH559(H8799) unto them, Be fruitfulH6509(H8798), and multiplyH7235(H8798), and replenishH4390(H8798) the earthH776.
2 The fear of you and the dread of you will be on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the sky. Everything that moves along the ground, and all the fish of the sea, are delivered into your hand.
KJVAnd the fear of youH4172 and the dread of youH2844 shall be upon every beastH2416 of the earthH776, and upon every fowlH5775 of the airH8064, upon all that movethH7430(H8799) upon the earthH127, and upon all the fishesH1709 of the seaH3220; into your handH3027 are they deliveredH5414(H8738).
3 Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As I gave you the green herb, I have given everything to you.
KJVEvery moving thingH7431 that livethH2416 shall be meatH402 for you; even as the greenH3418 herbH6212 have I givenH5414(H8804) you all things.
4 But flesh with its life, that is, its blood, you shall not eat.
KJVButH389 fleshH1320 with the lifeH5315 thereof, which is the bloodH1818 thereof, shall ye not eatH398(H8799).
5 I will surely require accounting for your life’s blood. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man.
KJVAnd surelyH389 your bloodH1818 of your livesH5315 will I requireH1875(H8799); at the handH3027 of every beastH2416 will I require itH1875(H8799), and at the handH3027 of manH120; at the handH3027 of every man'sH376 brotherH251 will I requireH1875(H8799) the lifeH5315 of manH120.
6 Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood will be shed by man, for God made man in his own image.

7 Be fruitful and multiply. Increase abundantly on the earth, and multiply in it.”
KJVAnd you, be ye fruitfulH6509(H8798), and multiplyH7235(H8798); bring forth abundantlyH8317(H8798) in the earthH776, and multiplyH7235(H8798) therein.
8 God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,
KJVAnd GodH430 spakeH559(H8799) unto NoahH5146, and to his sonsH1121 with him, sayingH559(H8800),
9 “As for me, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your offspring after you,
KJVAnd I, behold, I establishH6965(H8688) my covenantH1285 with you, and with your seedH2233 after youH310;
10 and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the livestock, and every animal of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ship, even every animal of the earth.
KJVAnd with every livingH2416 creatureH5315 that is with you, of the fowlH5775, of the cattleH929, and of every beastH2416 of the earthH776 with you; from all that go outH3318(H8802) of the arkH8392, to every beastH2416 of the earthH776.
11 I will establish my covenant with you: All flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood. There will never again be a flood to destroy the earth.”
KJVAnd I will establishH6965(H8689) my covenantH1285 with you; neither shall all fleshH1320 be cut offH3772(H8735) any more by the watersH4325 of a floodH3999; neither shall there any more be a floodH3999 to destroyH7843(H8763) the earthH776.
12 God said, “This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
KJVAnd GodH430 saidH559(H8799), This is the tokenH226 of the covenantH1285 which IH589 makeH5414(H8802) between me and you and every livingH2416 creatureH5315 that is with you, for perpetualH5769 generationsH1755:
13 I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.
KJVI do setH5414(H8804) my bowH7198 in the cloudH6051, and it shall be for a tokenH226 of a covenantH1285 between me and the earthH776.
14 When I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud,
KJVAnd it shall come to pass, when I bringH6049(H8763) a cloudH6051 over the earthH776, that the bowH7198 shall be seenH7200(H8738) in the cloudH6051:
15 I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh, and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
KJVAnd I will rememberH2142(H8804) my covenantH1285, which is between me and you and every livingH2416 creatureH5315 of all fleshH1320; and the watersH4325 shall no moreH5750 become a floodH3999 to destroyH7843(H8763) all fleshH1320.
16 The rainbow will be in the cloud. I will look at it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”
KJVAnd the bowH7198 shall be in the cloudH6051; and I will look upon itH7200(H8804), that I may rememberH2142(H8800) the everlastingH5769 covenantH1285 betweenH996 GodH430 andH996 every livingH2416 creatureH5315 of all fleshH1320 that is upon the earthH776.
17 God said to Noah, “This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”
KJVAnd GodH430 saidH559(H8799) unto NoahH5146, This is the tokenH226 of the covenantH1285, which I have establishedH6965(H8689) between me and all fleshH1320 that is upon the earthH776.
18 The sons of Noah who went out from the ship were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham is the father of Canaan.
KJVAnd the sonsH1121 of NoahH5146, that went forthH3318(H8802) of the arkH8392, were ShemH8035, and HamH2526, and JaphethH3315: and HamH2526H1931 is the fatherH1 of CanaanH3667.
19 These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated.
KJVThese are the threeH7969 sonsH1121 of NoahH5146: and of them was the whole earthH776 overspreadH5310(H8804).
20 Noah began to be a farmer, and planted a vineyard.
KJVAnd NoahH5146 beganH2490(H8686) to be an husbandmanH376H127, and he plantedH5193(H8799) a vineyardH3754:
21 He drank of the wine and got drunk. He was uncovered within his tent.
KJVAnd he drankH8354(H8799) of the wineH3196, and was drunkenH7937(H8799); and he was uncoveredH1540(H8691) withinH8432 his tentH168.
22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.
KJVAnd HamH2526, the fatherH1 of CanaanH3667, sawH7200(H8799) the nakednessH6172 of his fatherH1, and toldH5046(H8686) his twoH8147 brethrenH251 withoutH2351.
23 Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it on both their shoulders, went in backwards, and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were backwards, and they didn’t see their father’s nakedness.
KJVAnd ShemH8035 and JaphethH3315 tookH3947(H8799) a garmentH8071, and laidH7760(H8799) it upon bothH8147 their shouldersH7926, and wentH3212(H8799) backwardH322, and coveredH3680(H8762) the nakednessH6172 of their fatherH1; and their facesH6440 were backwardH322, and they sawH7200(H8804) not their father'sH1 nakednessH6172.
24 Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done to him.
KJVAnd NoahH5146 awokeH3364(H8799) from his wineH3196, and knewH3045(H8799) what his youngerH6996 sonH1121 had doneH6213(H8804) unto him.
25 He said, “Canaan is cursed. He will be a servant of servants to his brothers.”
KJVAnd he saidH559(H8799), CursedH779(H8803) be CanaanH3667; a servantH5650 of servantsH5650 shall he be unto his brethrenH251.
26 He said, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Shem. Let Canaan be his servant.
KJVAnd he saidH559(H8799), BlessedH1288(H8803) be the LORDH3068 GodH430 of ShemH8035; and CanaanH3667 shall beH1961(H8799) his servantH5650.
27 May God enlarge Japheth. Let him dwell in the tents of Shem. Let Canaan be his servant.”
KJVGodH430 shall enlargeH6601(H8686) JaphethH3315, and he shall dwellH7931(H8799) in the tentsH168 of ShemH8035; and CanaanH3667 shall be his servantH5650.
28 Noah lived three hundred fifty years after the flood.
KJVAnd NoahH5146 livedH2421(H8799) afterH310 the floodH3999 threeH7969 hundredH3967H8141 and fiftyH2572 yearsH8141.
29 All the days of Noah were nine hundred fifty years, and then he died.
KJVAnd all the daysH3117 of NoahH5146 were nineH8672 hundredH3967H8141 and fiftyH2572 yearsH8141: and he diedH4191(H8799).
