Advertise on Biblion
Biblion is a free Bible reader used by people who study Scripture closely. We accept a small amount of advertising, on unusual terms: it is clean, hand-curated, relevant to Bible study, and it tracks nobody. If that matches what you offer, this page tells you everything.
What we accept
Products, services and writing genuinely useful to people who study the Bible — study resources, books, software, courses, events, and honest reviews of such things. We turn down anything else, whatever it pays. Every placement is read and approved by hand before it runs, and we reserve the final wording: the band has one heading and one line of text, and it has to read well beside Scripture search results.
What it looks like
One band among the search-result bands — the same quiet shape readers already know from the maps and commentary bands, marked Sponsored, opening in a new tab:
Sponsored articles
Beyond the band, we publish sponsored articles: a full piece about your product, service or work, living among Biblion’s own articles. The rules are stricter, because the format earns more trust: the subject must genuinely serve Bible study, we review, edit and hold the final wording, and the article is marked Sponsored by you, by name — on its page, on the article list, and in every export a reader takes away. Its links to you tell search engines they are sponsored, as the rules of honest publishing require. It competes for attention like any other article; placement in the list is not for sale.
What we report to you: the article’s anonymous readership — how many times it was opened and the total time spent reading it. As with the band, we cannot tell you who, and would not want to be able to.
Where it appears — and where it never will
The band appears in search results only, either above or below the informational bands, and only as often as agreed — from every search down to one search in a thousand. A sponsored article lives on the Articles shelf, marked wherever it shows. Neither ever appears in the text of Scripture, in the reader, or on any page where someone is reading it. That line is not negotiable at any price, and it is published in our About page and terms, so every reader can hold us to it.
What we measure — and what we cannot sell you
Two numbers per campaign, which we will report to you honestly: how many times your band was shown, and how many times it was followed. That is the entire measurement apparatus. There are no impressions by region, no demographics, no click IDs, no retargeting, no pixels, and no scripts of yours on our pages — everything is served from our own server, and nothing about any reader is recorded. If your campaign depends on tracking, we are the wrong place, and we would rather say so here than in a negotiation.
How to start
Write to us through the contact form and choose Advertising on Biblion as the subject. Say what you offer, where it lives, and roughly when you would like to run — and leave an email address, since that is the only way we can answer. Pricing is by arrangement and depends on frequency and duration; we keep it simple.
We reply to serious proposals. A pitch for something unrelated to Bible study will be read and declined without a reply — see above for what we accept.
