¹“‘When anyone offers an offering of a meal offering to Yahweh, his offering shall be of fine flour. He shall pour oil on it, and put frankincense on it.

KJVAnd when any^H5315 will offer^H7126^(H8686) a meat^H4503 offering^H7133 unto the LORD^H3068, his offering^H7133 shall be of fine flour^H5560; and he shall pour^H3332^(H8804) oil^H8081 upon it, and put^H5414^(H8804) frankincense^H3828 thereon:

² He shall bring it to Aaron’s sons, the priests. He shall take his handful of its fine flour, and of its oil, with all its frankincense, and the priest shall burn its memorial on the altar, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

KJVAnd he shall bring^H935^(H8689) it to Aaron's^H175 sons^H1121 the priests^H3548: and he shall take^H7061^(H8804) thereout^H8033 his handful^H7062^H4393 of the flour^H5560 thereof, and of the oil^H8081 thereof, with all the frankincense^H3828 thereof; and the priest^H3548 shall burn^H6999^(H8689) the memorial^H234 of it upon the altar^H4196, to be an offering made by fire^H801, of a sweet^H5207 savour^H7381 unto the LORD^H3068:

³ That which is left of the meal offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. It is a most holy part of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire.

KJVAnd the remnant^H3498^(H8737) of the meat offering^H4503 shall be Aaron's^H175 and his sons^H1121': it is a thing most^H6944 holy^H6944 of the offerings^H801 of the LORD^H3068 made by fire^H801.

⁴ “‘When you offer an offering of a meal offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

KJVAnd if thou bring^H7126^(H8686) an oblation^H7133 of a meat offering^H4503 baken^H3989 in the oven^H8574, it shall be unleavened^H4682 cakes^H2471 of fine flour^H5560 mingled^H1101^(H8803) with oil^H8081, or unleavened^H4682 wafers^H7550 anointed^H4886^(H8803) with oil^H8081.

⁵ If your offering is a meal offering made on a griddle, it shall be of unleavened fine flour, mixed with oil.

KJVAnd if thy oblation^H7133 be a meat offering^H4503 baken in a pan^H4227, it shall be of fine flour^H5560 unleavened^H4682, mingled^H1101^(H8803) with oil^H8081.

⁶ You shall cut it in pieces, and pour oil on it. It is a meal offering.

KJVThou shalt part^H6626^(H8800) it in pieces^H6595, and pour^H3332^(H8804) oil^H8081 thereon: it is a meat offering^H4503.

⁷ If your offering is a meal offering of the pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

KJVAnd if thy oblation^H7133 be a meat offering^H4503 baken in the fryingpan^H4802, it shall be made^H6213^(H8735) of fine flour^H5560 with oil^H8081.

⁸ You shall bring the meal offering that is made of these things to Yahweh. It shall be presented to the priest, and he shall bring it to the altar.

KJVAnd thou shalt bring^H935^(H8689) the meat offering^H4503 that is made^H6213^(H8735) of these things unto the LORD^H3068: and when it is presented^H7126^(H8689) unto the priest^H3548, he shall bring^H5066^(H8689) it unto the altar^H4196.

⁹ The priest shall take from the meal offering its memorial, and shall burn it on the altar, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

KJVAnd the priest^H3548 shall take^H7311^(H8689) from the meat offering^H4503 a memorial^H234 thereof, and shall burn^H6999^(H8689) it upon the altar^H4196: it is an offering made by fire^H801, of a sweet^H5207 savour^H7381 unto the LORD^H3068.

¹⁰ That which is left of the meal offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. It is a most holy part of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire.

KJVAnd that which is left^H3498^(H8737) of the meat offering^H4503 shall be Aaron's^H175 and his sons^H1121': it is a thing most^H6944 holy^H6944 of the offerings^H801 of the LORD^H3068 made by fire^H801.

¹¹ “‘No meal offering which you shall offer to Yahweh shall be made with yeast; for you shall burn no yeast, nor any honey, as an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

KJVNo meat offering^H4503, which ye shall bring^H7126^(H8686) unto the LORD^H3068, shall be made^H6213^(H8735) with leaven^H2557: for ye shall burn^H6999^(H8686) no leaven^H7603, nor any honey^H1706, in any offering^H801 of the LORD^H3068 made by fire^H801.

¹² As an offering of first fruits you shall offer them to Yahweh, but they shall not rise up as a pleasant aroma on the altar.

KJVAs for the oblation^H7133 of the firstfruits^H7225, ye shall offer^H7126^(H8686) them unto the LORD^H3068: but they shall not be burnt^H5927^(H8799) on the altar^H4196 for a sweet^H5207 savour^H7381.

¹³ Every offering of your meal offering you shall season with salt. You shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your meal offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.

KJVAnd every oblation^H7133 of thy meat offering^H4503 shalt thou season^H4414^(H8799) with salt^H4417; neither shalt thou suffer the salt^H4417 of the covenant^H1285 of thy God^H430 to be lacking^H7673^(H8686) from thy meat offering^H4503: with all thine offerings^H7133 thou shalt offer^H7126^(H8686) salt^H4417.

¹⁴ “‘If you offer a meal offering of first fruits to Yahweh, you shall offer for the meal offering of your first fruits fresh heads of grain parched with fire and crushed.

KJVAnd if thou offer^H7126^(H8686) a meat offering^H4503 of thy firstfruits^H1061 unto the LORD^H3068, thou shalt offer^H7126^(H8686) for the meat offering^H4503 of thy firstfruits^H1061 green ears^H24 of corn dried^H7033^(H8803) by the fire^H784, even corn beaten^H1643 out of full ears^H3759.

¹⁵ You shall put oil on it and lay frankincense on it. It is a meal offering.

KJVAnd thou shalt put^H5414^(H8804) oil^H8081 upon it, and lay^H7760^(H8804) frankincense^H3828 thereon: it is a meat offering^H4503.

¹⁶ The priest shall burn as its memorial part of its crushed grain and part of its oil, along with all its frankincense. It is an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

KJVAnd the priest^H3548 shall burn^H6999^(H8689) the memorial^H234 of it, part of the beaten corn^H1643 thereof, and part of the oil^H8081 thereof, with all the frankincense^H3828 thereof: it is an offering made by fire^H801 unto the LORD^H3068.

¹Yahweh called to Moses, and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,

KJVAnd the LORD^H3068 called^H7121^(H8799) unto Moses^H4872, and spake^H1696^(H8762) unto him out of the tabernacle^H168 of the congregation^H4150, saying^H559^(H8800),

² “Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.

³ “‘If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

KJVIf his offering^H7133 be a burnt sacrifice^H5930 of the herd^H1241, let him offer^H7126^(H8686) a male^H2145 without blemish^H8549: he shall offer^H7126^(H8686) it of his own voluntary will^H7522 at the door^H6607 of the tabernacle^H168 of the congregation^H4150 before^H6440 the LORD^H3068.

⁴ He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

KJVAnd he shall put^H5564^(H8804) his hand^H3027 upon the head^H7218 of the burnt offering^H5930; and it shall be accepted^H7521^(H8738) for him to make atonement^H3722^(H8763) for him.

⁵ He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

KJVAnd he shall kill^H7819^(H8804) the bullock^H1121^H1241 before^H6440 the LORD^H3068: and the priests^H3548, Aaron's^H175 sons^H1121, shall bring^H7126^(H8689) the blood^H1818, and sprinkle^H2236^(H8804) the blood^H1818 round about^H5439 upon the altar^H4196 that is by the door^H6607 of the tabernacle^H168 of the congregation^H4150.

⁶ He shall skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.

KJVAnd he shall flay^H6584^(H8689) the burnt offering^H5930, and cut^H5408^(H8765) it into his pieces^H5409.

⁷ The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

KJVAnd the sons^H1121 of Aaron^H175 the priest^H3548 shall put^H5414^(H8804) fire^H784 upon the altar^H4196, and lay the wood^H6086 in order^H6186^(H8804) upon the fire^H784:

⁸ and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;

KJVAnd the priests^H3548, Aaron's^H175 sons^H1121, shall lay^H6186 the parts^H5409, the head^H7218, and the fat^H6309, in order^H6186^(H8804) upon the wood^H6086 that is on the fire^H784 which is upon the altar^H4196:

⁹ but he shall wash its innards and its legs with water. The priest shall burn all of it on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

KJVBut his inwards^H7130 and his legs^H3767 shall he wash^H7364^(H8799) in water^H4325: and the priest^H3548 shall burn^H6999^(H8689) all on the altar^H4196, to be a burnt sacrifice^H5930, an offering made by fire^H801, of a sweet^H5207 savour^H7381 unto the LORD^H3068.

¹⁰ “‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.

KJVAnd if his offering^H7133 be of the flocks^H6629, namely, of the sheep^H3775, or of the goats^H5795, for a burnt sacrifice^H5930; he shall bring^H7126^(H8686) it a male^H2145 without blemish^H8549.

¹¹ He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

KJVAnd he shall kill^H7819^(H8804) it on the side^H3409 of the altar^H4196 northward^H6828 before^H6440 the LORD^H3068: and the priests^H3548, Aaron's^H175 sons^H1121, shall sprinkle^H2236^(H8804) his blood^H1818 round about^H5439 upon the altar^H4196.

¹² He shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat. The priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar,

¹³ but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁴ “‘If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering from turtledoves or of young pigeons.

KJVAnd if the burnt sacrifice^H5930 for his offering^H7133 to the LORD^H3068 be of fowls^H5775, then he shall bring^H7126^(H8689) his offering^H7133 of turtledoves^H8449, or of young^H1121 pigeons^H3123.

¹⁵ The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;

KJVAnd the priest^H3548 shall bring^H7126^(H8689) it unto the altar^H4196, and wring off^H4454^(H8804) his head^H7218, and burn^H6999^(H8689) it on the altar^H4196; and the blood^H1818 thereof shall be wrung out^H4680^(H8738) at the side^H7023 of the altar^H4196:

¹⁶ and he shall take away its crop and its feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.

¹⁷ He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
