¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

² “If anyone sins, and commits a trespass against Yahweh, and deals falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or has oppressed his neighbor,

KJVIf a soul^H5315 sin^H2398^(H8799), and commit^H4603^(H8804) a trespass^H4604 against the LORD^H3068, and lie^H3584^(H8765) unto his neighbour^H5997 in that which was delivered^H6487 him to keep, or in fellowship^H8667^H3027, or in a thing taken away by violence^H1498, or hath deceived^H6231^(H8804) his neighbour^H5997;

³ or has found that which was lost, and lied about it, and swearing to a lie—in any of these things that a man sins in his actions—

⁴ then it shall be, if he has sinned, and is guilty, he shall restore that which he took by robbery, or the thing which he has gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found,

⁵ or any thing about which he has sworn falsely: he shall restore it in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it. He shall return it to him to whom it belongs in the day of his being found guilty.

⁶ He shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest.

KJVAnd he shall bring^H935^(H8686) his trespass offering^H817 unto the LORD^H3068, a ram^H352 without blemish^H8549 out of the flock^H6629, with thy estimation^H6187, for a trespass offering^H817, unto the priest^H3548:

⁷ The priest shall make atonement for him before Yahweh, and he will be forgiven concerning whatever he does to become guilty.”

⁸ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

⁹ “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the burnt offering: the burnt offering shall be on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning; and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it.

¹⁰ The priest shall put on his linen garment, and he shall put on his linen trousers upon his body; and he shall remove the ashes from where the fire has consumed the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

KJVAnd the priest^H3548 shall put^H3847^(H8804) on his linen^H906 garment^H4055, and his linen^H906 breeches^H4370 shall he put^H3847^(H8799) upon his flesh^H1320, and take up^H7311^(H8689) the ashes^H1880 which the fire^H784 hath consumed^H398^(H8799) with the burnt offering^H5930 on the altar^H4196, and he shall put^H7760^(H8804) them beside^H681 the altar^H4196.

¹¹ He shall take off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.

KJVAnd he shall put off^H6584^(H8804) his garments^H899, and put on^H3847^(H8804) other^H312 garments^H899, and carry forth^H3318^(H8689) the ashes^H1880 without^H2351 the camp^H4264 unto a clean^H2889 place^H4725.

¹² The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it, it shall not go out; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning. He shall lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.

KJVAnd the fire^H784 upon the altar^H4196 shall be burning^H3344^(H8714) in it; it shall not be put out^H3518^(H8799): and the priest^H3548 shall burn^H1197^(H8765) wood^H6086 on it every morning^H1242, and lay the burnt offering^H5930 in order^H6186^(H8804) upon it; and he shall burn^H6999^(H8689) thereon the fat^H2459 of the peace offerings^H8002.

¹³ Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.

KJVThe fire^H784 shall ever^H8548 be burning^H3344^(H8714) upon the altar^H4196; it shall never go out^H3518^(H8799).

¹⁴ “‘This is the law of the meal offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before Yahweh, before the altar.

KJVAnd this is the law^H8451 of the meat offering^H4503: the sons^H1121 of Aaron^H175 shall offer^H7126^(H8685) it before^H6440 the LORD^H3068, before^H6440 the altar^H4196.

¹⁵ He shall take from there his handful of the fine flour of the meal offering, and of its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the meal offering, and shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma, as its memorial portion, to Yahweh.

KJVAnd he shall take^H7311^(H8689) of it his handful^H7062, of the flour^H5560 of the meat offering^H4503, and of the oil^H8081 thereof, and all the frankincense^H3828 which is upon the meat offering^H4503, and shall burn^H6999^(H8689) it upon the altar^H4196 for a sweet^H5207 savour^H7381, even the memorial^H234 of it, unto the LORD^H3068.

¹⁶ That which is left of it Aaron and his sons shall eat. It shall be eaten without yeast in a holy place. They shall eat it in the court of the Tent of Meeting.

KJVAnd the remainder^H3498^(H8737) thereof shall Aaron^H175 and his sons^H1121 eat^H398^(H8799): with unleavened bread^H4682 shall it be eaten^H398^(H8735) in the holy^H6918 place^H4725; in the court^H2691 of the tabernacle^H168 of the congregation^H4150 they shall eat^H398^(H8799) it.

¹⁷ It shall not be baked with yeast. I have given it as their portion of my offerings made by fire. It is most holy, as are the sin offering and the trespass offering.

¹⁸ Every male among the children of Aaron shall eat of it, as their portion forever throughout your generations, from the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. Whoever touches them shall be holy.’”

¹⁹ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²⁰ “This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer to Yahweh in the day when he is anointed: one tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening.

²¹ It shall be made with oil in a griddle. When it is soaked, you shall bring it in. You shall offer the meal offering in baked pieces for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

KJVIn a pan^H4227 it shall be made^H6213^(H8735) with oil^H8081; and when it is baken^H7246^(H8716), thou shalt bring^H935^(H8686) it in: and the baken^H8601 pieces^H6595 of the meat offering^H4503 shalt thou offer^H7126^(H8686) for a sweet^H5207 savour^H7381 unto the LORD^H3068.

²² The anointed priest that will be in his place from among his sons shall offer it. By a statute forever, it shall be wholly burned to Yahweh.

KJVAnd the priest^H3548 of his sons^H1121 that is anointed^H4899 in his stead shall offer^H6213^(H8799) it: it is a statute^H2706 for ever^H5769 unto the LORD^H3068; it shall be wholly^H3632 burnt^H6999^(H8714).

²³ Every meal offering of a priest shall be wholly burned. It shall not be eaten.”

²⁴ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²⁵ “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is killed, the sin offering shall be killed before Yahweh. It is most holy.

KJVSpeak^H1696^(H8761) unto Aaron^H175 and to his sons^H1121, saying^H559^(H8800), This is the law^H8451 of the sin offering^H2403: In the place^H4725 where the burnt offering^H5930 is killed^H7819^(H8735) shall the sin offering^H2403 be killed^H7819^(H8735) before^H6440 the LORD^H3068: it is most^H6944 holy^H6944.

²⁶ The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the Tent of Meeting.

²⁷ Whatever shall touch its flesh shall be holy. When there is any of its blood sprinkled on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was sprinkled in a holy place.

²⁸ But the earthen vessel in which it is boiled shall be broken; and if it is boiled in a bronze vessel, it shall be scoured, and rinsed in water.

²⁹ Every male among the priests shall eat of it. It is most holy.

³⁰ No sin offering, of which any of the blood is brought into the Tent of Meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be eaten. It shall be burned with fire.

KJVAnd no sin offering^H2403, whereof any of the blood^H1818 is brought^H935^(H8714) into the tabernacle^H168 of the congregation^H4150 to reconcile^H3722^(H8763) withal in the holy^H6944 place, shall be eaten^H398^(H8735): it shall be burnt^H8313^(H8735) in the fire^H784.

¹“‘If anyone sins, in that he hears a public adjuration to testify, he being a witness, whether he has seen or known, if he doesn’t report it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

² “‘Or if anyone touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it is hidden from him, and he is unclean, then he shall be guilty.

³ “‘Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever his uncleanness is with which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty.

⁴ “‘Or if anyone swears rashly with his lips to do evil or to do good—whatever it is that a man might utter rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him—when he knows of it, then he will be guilty of one of these.

KJVOr if a soul^H5315 swear^H7650^(H8735), pronouncing^H981^(H8763) with his lips^H8193 to do evil^H7489^(H8687), or to do good^H3190^(H8687), whatsoever it be that a man^H120 shall pronounce^H981^(H8762) with an oath^H7621, and it be hid^H5956^(H8738) from him; when he knoweth^H3045^(H8804) of it, then he shall be guilty^H816^(H8804) in one^H259 of these.

⁵ It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned;

⁶ and he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh for his sin which he has sinned: a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin.

⁷ “‘If he can’t afford a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to Yahweh; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

KJVAnd if he^H3027 be not able^H1767 to bring^H5060^(H8686) a lamb^H7716, then he shall bring^H935^(H8689) for^H854 his trespass^H817, which he hath committed^H2398^(H8804), two^H8147 turtledoves^H8449, or two^H8147 young^H1121 pigeons^H3123, unto the LORD^H3068; one^H259 for a sin offering^H2403, and the other^H259 for a burnt offering^H5930.

⁸ He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering. He shall wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.

KJVAnd he shall bring^H935^(H8689) them unto the priest^H3548, who shall offer^H7126^(H8689) that which is for the sin offering^H2403 first^H7223, and wring off^H4454^(H8804) his head^H7218 from^H4136 his neck^H6203, but shall not divide it asunder^H914^(H8686):

⁹ He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.

¹⁰ He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven.

¹¹ “‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he shall bring as his offering for that in which he has sinned, one tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, and he shall not put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

¹² He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. It is a sin offering.

KJVThen shall he bring^H935^(H8689) it to the priest^H3548, and the priest^H3548 shall take^H7061^(H8804) his handful^H4393^H7062 of it, even a memorial^H234 thereof, and burn^H6999^(H8689) it on the altar^H4196, according to the offerings made by fire^H801 unto the LORD^H3068: it is a sin offering^H2403.

¹³ The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned in any of these things, and he will be forgiven; and the rest shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering.’”

¹⁴ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁵ “If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly regarding Yahweh’s holy things, then he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.

KJVIf a soul^H5315 commit^H4603^(H8799) a trespass^H4604, and sin^H2398^(H8804) through ignorance^H7684, in the holy things^H6944 of the LORD^H3068; then he shall bring^H935^(H8689) for his trespass^H817 unto the LORD^H3068 a ram^H352 without blemish^H8549 out of the flocks^H6629, with thy estimation^H6187 by shekels^H8255 of silver^H3701, after the shekel^H8255 of the sanctuary^H6944, for a trespass offering^H817:

¹⁶ He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong regarding the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven.

KJVAnd he shall make amends^H7999^(H8762) for the harm^H2398^(H8804) that he hath done in the holy thing^H6944, and shall add^H3254^(H8686) the fifth part^H2549 thereto, and give^H5414^(H8804) it unto the priest^H3548: and the priest^H3548 shall make an atonement^H3722^(H8762) for him with the ram^H352 of the trespass offering^H817, and it shall be forgiven^H5545^(H8738) him.

¹⁷ “If anyone sins, doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

KJVAnd if a soul^H5315 sin^H2398^(H8799), and commit^H6213^(H8804) any^H259 of these things which are forbidden to be done^H6213^(H8735) by the commandments^H4687 of the LORD^H3068; though he wist^H3045^(H8804) it not, yet is he guilty^H816^(H8804), and shall bear^H5375^(H8804) his iniquity^H5771.

¹⁸ He shall bring a ram without defect from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing in which he sinned and didn’t know it, and he will be forgiven.

KJVAnd he shall bring^H935^(H8689) a ram^H352 without blemish^H8549 out of the flock^H6629, with thy estimation^H6187, for a trespass offering^H817, unto the priest^H3548: and the priest^H3548 shall make an atonement^H3722^(H8765) for him concerning his ignorance^H7684 wherein he erred^H7683^(H8804) and wist^H3045^(H8804) it not, and it shall be forgiven^H5545^(H8738) him.

¹⁹ It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before Yahweh.”

KJVIt is a trespass offering^H817: he hath certainly^H816^(H8800) trespassed^H816^(H8804) against the LORD^H3068.
