¹But in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it.

KJVBut in the last^H319 days^H3117 it shall come to pass, that the mountain^H2022 of the house^H1004 of the LORD^H3068 shall be established^H3559^(H8737) in the top^H7218 of the mountains^H2022, and it shall be exalted^H5375^(H8737) above the hills^H1389; and people^H5971 shall flow^H5102^(H8804) unto it.

² Many nations will go and say, “Come! Let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem;

KJVAnd many^H7227 nations^H1471 shall come^H1980^(H8804), and say^H559^(H8804), Come^H3212^(H8798), and let us go up^H5927^(H8799) to the mountain^H2022 of the LORD^H3068, and to the house^H1004 of the God^H430 of Jacob^H3290; and he will teach^H3384^(H8686) us of his ways^H1870, and we will walk^H3212^(H8799) in his paths^H734: for the law^H8451 shall go forth^H3318^(H8799) of Zion^H6726, and the word^H1697 of the LORD^H3068 from Jerusalem^H3389.

³ and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.

KJVAnd he shall judge^H8199^(H8804) among many^H7227 people^H5971, and rebuke^H3198^(H8689) strong^H6099 nations^H1471 afar off^H7350; and they shall beat^H3807^(H8765) their swords^H2719 into plowshares^H855, and their spears^H2595 into pruninghooks^H4211: nation^H1471 shall not lift up^H5375^(H8799) a sword^H2719 against nation^H1471, neither shall they learn^H3925^(H8799) war^H4421 any more.

⁴ But every man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid, for the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken.

KJVBut they shall sit^H3427^(H8804) every man^H376 under his vine^H1612 and under his fig tree^H8384; and none shall make them afraid^H2729^(H8688): for the mouth^H6310 of the LORD^H3068 of hosts^H6635 hath spoken^H1696^(H8765) it.

⁵ Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.

KJVFor all people^H5971 will walk^H3212^(H8799) every one^H376 in the name^H8034 of his god^H430, and we will walk^H3212^(H8799) in the name^H8034 of the LORD^H3068 our God^H430 for ever^H5769 and ever^H5703.

⁶ “In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;

KJVIn that day^H3117, saith^H5002^(H8803) the LORD^H3068, will I assemble^H622^(H8799) her that halteth^H6760^(H8802), and I will gather^H6908^(H8762) her that is driven out^H5080^(H8737), and her that I have afflicted^H7489^(H8689);

⁷ and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.”

KJVAnd I will make^H7760^(H8804) her that halted^H6760^(H8802) a remnant^H7611, and her that was cast far off^H1972^(H8737) a strong^H6099 nation^H1471: and the LORD^H3068 shall reign^H4427^(H8804) over them in mount^H2022 Zion^H6726 from henceforth, even for^H5704 ever^H5769.

⁸ You, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come. Yes, the former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

KJVAnd thou, O tower^H4026 of the flock^H5739^(H8677)^H4029, the strong hold^H6076 of the daughter^H1323 of Zion^H6726, unto thee shall it come^H857^(H8799), even the first^H7223 dominion^H4475; the kingdom^H4467 shall come^H935^(H8804) to the daughter^H1323 of Jerusalem^H3389.

⁹ Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?

KJVNow why dost thou cry^H7321^(H8686) out aloud^H7452? is there no king^H4428 in thee? is thy counsellor^H3289^(H8802) perished^H6^(H8804)? for pangs^H2427 have taken^H2388^(H8689) thee as a woman in travail^H3205^(H8802).

¹⁰ Be in pain, and labor to give birth, daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you will go out of the city, and will dwell in the field, and will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

KJVBe in pain^H2342^(H8798), and labour to bring forth^H1518^(H8798), O daughter^H1323 of Zion^H6726, like a woman in travail^H3205^(H8802): for now shalt thou go forth^H3318^(H8799) out of the city^H7151, and thou shalt dwell^H7931^(H8804) in the field^H7704, and thou shalt go^H935^(H8804) even to Babylon^H894; there shalt thou be delivered^H5337^(H8735); there the LORD^H3068 shall redeem^H1350^(H8799) thee from the hand^H3709 of thine enemies^H341^(H8802).

¹¹ Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, “Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion.”

KJVNow also many^H7227 nations^H1471 are gathered^H622^(H8738) against thee, that say^H559^(H8802), Let her be defiled^H2610^(H8799), and let our eye^H5869 look^H2372^(H8799) upon Zion^H6726.

¹² But they don’t know the thoughts of Yahweh, neither do they understand his counsel; for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.

KJVBut they know^H3045^(H8804) not the thoughts^H4284 of the LORD^H3068, neither understand^H995^(H8689) they his counsel^H6098: for he shall gather^H6908^(H8765) them as the sheaves^H5995 into the floor^H1637.

¹³ Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs bronze. You will beat in pieces many peoples. I will devote their gain to Yahweh, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

¹I said, “Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn’t it for you to know justice?

² You who hate the good, and love the evil; who tear off their skin, and their flesh from off their bones;

³ who also eat the flesh of my people, and peel their skin from off them, and break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as meat within the cauldron.

⁴ Then they will cry to Yahweh, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, because they made their deeds evil.”

⁵ Yahweh says concerning the prophets who lead my people astray—for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, “Peace!” and whoever doesn’t provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him:

KJVThus saith^H559^(H8804) the LORD^H3068 concerning the prophets^H5030 that make my people^H5971 err^H8582^(H8688), that bite^H5391^(H8802) with their teeth^H8127, and cry^H7121^(H8804), Peace^H7965; and he that putteth^H5414^(H8799) not into their mouths^H6310, they even prepare^H6942^(H8765) war^H4421 against him.

⁶ “Therefore night is over you, with no vision, and it is dark to you, that you may not divine; and the sun will go down on the prophets, and the day will be black over them.

⁷ The seers shall be disappointed, and the diviners confounded. Yes, they shall all cover their lips, for there is no answer from God.”

⁸ But as for me, I am full of power by Yahweh’s Spirit, and of judgment, and of might, to declare to Jacob his disobedience, and to Israel his sin.

⁹ Please listen to this, you heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice, and pervert all equity,

¹⁰ who build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

¹¹ Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money; yet they lean on Yahweh, and say, “Isn’t Yahweh among us? No disaster will come on us.”

¹² Therefore Zion for your sake will be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem will become heaps of rubble, and the mountain of the temple like the high places of a forest.

KJVTherefore shall Zion^H6726 for your sake^H1558 be plowed^H2790^(H8735) as a field^H7704, and Jerusalem^H3389 shall become heaps^H5856, and the mountain^H2022 of the house^H1004 as the high places^H1116 of the forest^H3293.
