Exodus 36:1-38

The only building project in Scripture that has to ask people to stop giving.
They kept bringing free will offerings to him every morning Exodus 36:3.
Every morning, unprompted, until the craftsmen leave their benches to report a problem. The people have brought much more than enough for the service of the work which Yahweh commanded to make Exodus 36:5.
Moses gave a commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, "Let neither man nor woman make anything else for the offering for the sanctuary." So the people were restrained from bringing Exodus 36:6.
A proclamation had to be issued to stop the giving. It is the only such episode in Scripture, and it is recorded of the same nation that had melted its jewelry into a calf six weeks earlier. Nothing had changed about them except that they had seen what their idolatry cost and had been forgiven for it anyway.
The rest of the chapter builds the curtains, the goats' hair covering, the boards and the veil, following chapter twenty-six clause by clause. The repetition is the report: what was specified was made, in the order it was specified, without alteration.
