¹“In that day there will be a fountain opened to David’s house and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

KJVIn that day^H3117 there shall be a fountain^H4726 opened^H6605^(H8737) to the house^H1004 of David^H1732 and to the inhabitants^H3427^(H8802) of Jerusalem^H3389 for sin^H2403 and for uncleanness^H5079.

² It will come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Armies, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they will be remembered no more. I will also cause the prophets and the spirit of impurity to pass out of the land.

KJVAnd it shall come to pass in that day^H3117, saith^H5002^(H8803) the LORD^H3068 of hosts^H6635, that I will cut off^H3772^(H8686) the names^H8034 of the idols^H6091 out of the land^H776, and they shall no more be remembered^H2142^(H8735): and also I will cause the prophets^H5030 and the unclean^H2932 spirit^H7307 to pass^H5674^(H8686) out of the land^H776.

³ It will happen that when anyone still prophesies, then his father and his mother who bore him will tell him, ‘You must die, because you speak lies in Yahweh’s name;’ and his father and his mother who bore him will stab him when he prophesies.

KJVAnd it shall come to pass, that when any^H376 shall yet prophesy^H5012^(H8735), then his father^H1 and his mother^H517 that begat^H3205^(H8802) him shall say^H559^(H8804) unto him, Thou shalt not live^H2421^(H8799); for thou speakest^H1696^(H8765) lies^H8267 in the name^H8034 of the LORD^H3068: and his father^H1 and his mother^H517 that begat^H3205^(H8802) him shall thrust^H1856^(H8804) him through when he prophesieth^H5012^(H8736).

⁴ It will happen in that day that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; they won’t wear a hairy mantle to deceive,

KJVAnd it shall come to pass in that day^H3117, that the prophets^H5030 shall be ashamed^H954^(H8799) every one^H376 of his vision^H2384, when he hath prophesied^H5012^(H8736); neither shall they wear^H3847^(H8799) a rough^H8181 garment^H155 to deceive^H3584^(H8763):

⁵ but he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondservant from my youth.’

KJVBut he shall say^H559^(H8804), I am no prophet^H5030, I am an husbandman^H376^H5647^(H8802)^H127; for man^H120 taught me to keep cattle^H7069^(H8689) from my youth^H5271.

⁶ One will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’

KJVAnd one shall say^H559^(H8804) unto him, What are these wounds^H4347 in thine hands^H3027? Then he shall answer^H559^(H8804), Those with which I was wounded^H5221^(H8717) in the house^H1004 of my friends^H157^(H8764).

⁷ “Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me,” says Yahweh of Armies. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

⁸ It shall happen that in all the land,” says Yahweh, “two parts in it will be cut off and die; but the third will be left in it.

KJVAnd it shall come to pass, that in all the land^H776, saith^H5002^(H8803) the LORD^H3068, two^H8147 parts^H6310 therein shall be cut off^H3772^(H8735) and die^H1478^(H8799); but the third^H7992 shall be left^H3498^(H8735) therein.

⁹ I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, ‘It is my people;’ and they will say, ‘Yahweh is my God.’”

¹A revelation of Yahweh’s word concerning Israel: Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says:

KJVThe burden^H4853 of the word^H1697 of the LORD^H3068 for Israel^H3478, saith^H5002^(H8803) the LORD^H3068, which stretcheth^H5186^(H8802) forth the heavens^H8064, and layeth the foundation^H3245^(H8801) of the earth^H776, and formeth^H3335^(H8802) the spirit^H7307 of man^H120 within^H7130 him.

² “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and it will also be on Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.

KJVBehold, I will make^H7760^(H8802) Jerusalem^H3389 a cup^H5592 of trembling^H7478 unto all the people^H5971 round about^H5439, when they shall be in the siege^H4692 both against Judah^H3063 and against Jerusalem^H3389.

³ It will happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.

⁴ In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will strike every horse with terror and his rider with madness. I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

KJVIn that day^H3117, saith^H5002^(H8803) the LORD^H3068, I will smite^H5221^(H8686) every horse^H5483 with astonishment^H8541, and his rider^H7392^(H8802) with madness^H7697: and I will open^H6491^(H8799) mine eyes^H5869 upon the house^H1004 of Judah^H3063, and will smite^H5221^(H8686) every horse^H5483 of the people^H5971 with blindness^H5788.

⁵ The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in Yahweh of Armies their God.’

KJVAnd the governors^H441 of Judah^H3063 shall say^H559^(H8804) in their heart^H3820, The inhabitants^H3427^(H8802) of Jerusalem^H3389 shall be my strength^H556 in the LORD^H3068 of hosts^H6635 their God^H430.

⁶ In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

KJVIn that day^H3117 will I make^H7760^(H8799) the governors^H441 of Judah^H3063 like an hearth^H3595 of fire^H784 among the wood^H6086, and like a torch^H3940 of fire^H784 in a sheaf^H5995; and they shall devour^H398^(H8804) all the people^H5971 round about^H5439, on the right hand^H3225 and on the left^H8040: and Jerusalem^H3389 shall be inhabited^H3427^(H8804) again in her own place, even in Jerusalem^H3389.

⁷ Yahweh also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of David’s house and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem not be magnified above Judah.

KJVThe LORD^H3068 also shall save^H3467^(H8689) the tents^H168 of Judah^H3063 first^H7223, that the glory^H8597 of the house^H1004 of David^H1732 and the glory^H8597 of the inhabitants^H3427^(H8802) of Jerusalem^H3389 do not magnify^H1431^(H8799) themselves against Judah^H3063.

⁸ In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and David’s house will be like God, like Yahweh’s angel before them.

KJVIn that day^H3117 shall the LORD^H3068 defend^H1598^(H8686) the inhabitants^H3427^(H8802) of Jerusalem^H3389; and he that is feeble^H3782^(H8737) among them at that day^H3117 shall be as David^H1732; and the house^H1004 of David^H1732 shall be as God^H430, as the angel^H4397 of the LORD^H3068 before^H6440 them.

⁹ It will happen in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

KJVAnd it shall come to pass in that day^H3117, that I will seek^H1245^(H8762) to destroy^H8045^(H8687) all the nations^H1471 that come^H935^(H8802) against Jerusalem^H3389.

¹⁰ I will pour on David’s house and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplication. They will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for his firstborn.

KJVAnd I will pour^H8210^(H8804) upon the house^H1004 of David^H1732, and upon the inhabitants^H3427^(H8802) of Jerusalem^H3389, the spirit^H7307 of grace^H2580 and of supplications^H8469: and they shall look^H5027^(H8689) upon me whom they have pierced^H1856^(H8804), and they shall mourn^H4553 for him, as one mourneth^H5594^(H8804) for his only^H3173 son, and shall be in bitterness^H4843^(H8687) for him, as one that is in bitterness^H4843^(H8687) for his firstborn^H1060.

¹¹ In that day there will be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddo.

KJVIn that day^H3117 shall there be a great^H1431^(H8799) mourning^H4553 in Jerusalem^H3389, as the mourning^H4553 of Hadadrimmon^H1910 in the valley^H1237 of Megiddon^H4023.

¹² The land will mourn, every family apart; the family of David’s house apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
